Trustee
An Oxford graduate in History, Lindsay Brown served as International Director of the Lausanne Movement, global General Secretary of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, overseeing ministry in over 150 countries, and as the Founder of the Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe (FEUER).

Advisor
Xander is a pastor at St Andrew the Great Church, where he oversees the 20s–30s ministry and church-wide evangelism. He is passionate about helping others see how Jesus makes sense of life in a way nothing else does, and he particularly enjoys engaging with the big questions of the Christian faith and with those who are exploring it.

Advisor
Sharon Dirckx is a speaker and author whose work focuses on responding to the spiritual and faith-related questions that people ask today. She is motivated to show how and why the person of Jesus Christ remains as relevant as ever to the pertinent questions of our time, and to do so in an engaging way. Originally from a scientific background, she has a PhD in brain imaging from the University of Cambridge. Sharon lectures across the UK and internationally, in workplaces, universities, schools, churches, and conferences.

Co-Chair of the Advisory Group
Andrew is a Christian apologist, author and former chairman of L’Abri International, currently serving as minister at St Thomas’ Church, Cambridge. He was Director of L’Abri England for about fifteen years before moving to Cambridge. His latest book, Humanity Matters: Re-enchanting Homo Sapiens, was published in 2026.
Andrew co-chairs the advisory group for Cambridge Apologetics, and its sister ministry, Life in the Round, alongside Mike Hood.Â

Co-Chair of the Advisory Group
Mike is one of the pastors at Eden Baptist Church in Cambridge, where he previously served as church evangelist. A former UCCF staff worker, he has a BA in English Literature from Cambridge University and an MA in Christian Theology and Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Crosslands Training. He is the author of The If That Changes Everything: What If You Could Believe That Jesus Rose from the Dead? (2026), and a spoken-word poet who has competed at the Royal Albert Hall and performed at the Big Church Festival.
Mike co-chairs the advisory group for Cambridge Apologetics, and its sister ministry, Life in the Round, alongside Andrew Fellows.

Director
Tim studied English Literature at Oxford and law in London where he then served as a banking lawyer and as London chairman of the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship. His later theological education includes a ThM from Westminster (PA), and a PhD from the University of St Andrews. He was previously European Director of The Veritas Forum.
Tim oversees the work of Cambridge Apologetics and its sister ministry, Life in the Round, as part of his role as Director of The Foundations Trust, which coordinates both ministries. He has also been entrusted with the oversight of UCCF and IFES Europe’s academic ministry through their partnership with the Trust.

Trustee
A Cambridge graduate in Natural Sciences, Prof Lennox is a world renowned author and speaker, mathematician, philosopher of science and Emeritus Professor at the University of Oxford. He has debated Richard Dawkins and has headed the FEUER Academic Speakers’ Network since its inception in 2016.Â

Advisor
Niv is the Senior Associate Minister at Christ Church, Cambridge, where his role includes helping grow the church family’s confidence and joy in sharing Jesus. He’s privileged to be involved regularly with university missions, having worked with UCCF as a staff worker.

Trustee
As an undergraduate Ranald studied law and theology in Cambridge in the 1950s where he met Francis Schaeffer, whom he then joined at L’Abri in Switzerland. He married the Schaeffers’ daughter Susan, and together they established English L’Abri in Hampshire, and the IPC church network. Ranald is the founder of the ministry at the Round Church, which began formally in 2001 under its earlier name Christian Heritage.Â

Advisor
Kevin is married to Mags, became a follower of Jesus at age 18 and has worked in financial services sector from 1983–present. He attended his first Christian Heritage Summer School in 2000, and was on the Board of Trustees for several years. He completed a MA in Apologetics at Biola in 2015, and attained his PhD in Intellectual History in 2024, focusing on the interaction between Christian theology and Enlightenment thinking. Regular lay-preacher, apologetics lecturer, blogger and house-group leader.

Advisor
Michael is an author and international speaker. He travels widely across Europe speaking mainly in universities. His talks focus on the truth and relevance of the Christian faith to all areas of life. He is the leader of a European network of Christian Speakers who work in Universities. He is the author of four books which have been translated into numerous languages. He is based in the Midlands of England and is married to Rebecca, an airline pilot. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, cycling, camping, gardening, cooking and baking!

Projects Coordinator
Jo provides operational support for The Foundations Trust, including coordinating the evening events and advisory group for Cambridge Apologetics and its sister ministry, Life in the Round.Â
Jo holds an MPhil in Early Modern History from the University of Cambridge, where her research focused on popular religious beliefs and cultural attitudes in post-Reformation England. She previously studied at the University of Exeter and has worked in university administration. She is a member of Eden Baptist Church.Â

Projects Manager
Jon provides operational oversight for The Foundations Trust, and coordinates the annual Cambridge Apologetics conference.
He grew up in the USA and holds postgraduate degrees in both English Literature (Dartmouth College and King’s College London) and Theology (University of Cambridge). He now lives in Cambridge with his wife Eunika, who is originally from Slovakia and together they attend church and serve at St Andrew the Great.Â

Advisor
JP serves as UCCF’s Team Leader for the Central Region, supporting student ministry in universities and campuses from Oxford to Cambridge and out to the east coast. JP graduated from Durham University, and has since worked in local church and student ministry contexts. He is based in Cambridge with his wife, Bente, and their sons, Jesaja and Sefanja.

Advisor
Dan is a Fellow at the Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics, involved in theological leadership at The London Project (City to City), and is a Contributing Editor for Themelios. Formerly he was college director and tutor in culture, religion, and public theology at Oak Hill College, London. His most recent books are Plugged In, and Making Faith Magnetic , which help Christians engage with culture and share their faith. Dan is married to Elly, and has seven children. He is a member of Hope Community Church, Low Fell, Gateshead.

Trustee and Advisor
Tony is the Fellow for Public Engagement at Tyndale House. His PhD explored ideas of flourishing in the prophetic literature and narratives in today’s media. Tony has been a speaker and writer on the Bible and media for many years. He previously worked in partnership with various organisations including the Lausanne Media Engagement Network, Damaris Norway, and IFES Graduate Impact. He was an adjunct lecturer at NLA University College, Norway, and has been a visiting lecturer at several other academic institutions. Tony is married to Jane, who is Director of Mentoring for Growing Young Disciples.
